Camouflage is a form of concealment where an entity attempts to blend into the background and thus avoid being noticed.

Movement beyond a certain degree reveals most camouflage. If the background is vertical stripes, then the entity would remain hidden so long it didn't move: static vertical stripes on a wall don't move on their own.

Camouflage is not obfuscation. Camouflage specifically attempts to avoid being noticed by avoiding being separated as a figure on a background. Obfuscation is meant to make the object hazy, indistinct, or too complicated to comprehend.
